16th GRIHA Summit 2024
The 16th GRIHA Summit 2024, held in New Delhi, focuses on “Accelerating Climate Action in the Built Environment.” It promotes sustainable urban development, addressing climate resilience in construction, and advancing the 2030 climate goals and 2050 emissions reduction target. Key speakers, including Dr. Vibha Dhawan and Martine Aamdal Bottheim, emphasized collective action and zero-carbon building goals. Memorandums with institutions like Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan aim to foster sustainability in schools. The summit also launched GRIHA V 6.0 and publications, showcasing advancements in sustainable technologies. GRIHA, founded in 2007 by TERI and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, is globally recognized for sustainability evaluation.
