Hunar Se Rozgar Tak scheme
Introduction: The “Hunar Se Rozgar Tak” scheme is a Suo-Moto Sub-Scheme of the Ministry of Tourism under the Umbrella Scheme of “Capacity Building for Service Providers (CBSP)”.
Ministry/Agency: Ministry of Tourism.
Objectives: Provide financial assistance to institutes to conduct Skill Development Programmes for persons with not much means and in need to acquire skills facilitative to employment.
Benefits:
- Courses offered: Multi Cuisine Cook, Food & Beverage Service Steward, Room Attendant, Front office Associate, Laundry Machine Operator, Kitchen Steward, Home Delivery Boy, Traditional Snack & Savoury Maker.
- Eligible institutes: Government/Private Institutes/organizations/entities.
- Skill Testing & Certification courses in Food Production, Bakery and Patisserie, Food & Beverage Service, and Housekeeping Utility for re-skilling/skill up-gradation of persons already engaged in hospitality related occupations.
Eligibility: All Government/Private Institutes/organizations/entities are eligible.
Implementation Strategy:
- Short Term Hospitality courses to be implemented by Govt. Institutes of Hotel Management/Food Craft Institutes, State/Union Territory Governments, State/Union Territory Tourism Development Corp./Boards, industrial units, associations of industries, professional/skill developing agencies, and Classified Hotels.
- Skill Testing & Certification courses to be implemented by Ministry of Tourism sponsored Govt. Institutes of Hotel Management and Food Craft Institutes etc.
