National Achievement Survey 2024
The National Achievement Survey (NAS) 2024, set for December 4, will assess around 5 million students from Classes 3, 6, and 9 across 792 districts in India. Conducted in 26 languages, including six new ones, NAS uses a competency-based model to evaluate how well students apply their knowledge in real-world situations. Organized by NCERT, the survey covers diverse socio-economic factors, with results available in February 2025. The survey’s insights will inform education policies, especially in addressing learning losses from COVID-19, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of student performance across India.
