US, Japan, South Korea Launch Digital Infrastructure Initiative

The United States, Japan, and South Korea launched the Digital Infrastructure Growth Initiative (DiGi Framework) to enhance India’s digital infrastructure. In partnership with India’s private sector, this framework aims to develop key areas such as 5G, optical fiber, telecom towers, and smart city technologies. Financial institutions like the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), and Korea Eximbank are collaborating to promote high-quality investments in these sectors. This initiative supports India’s digital economy and fosters global cooperation.
