Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index (GRAI) 2023
The Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index (GRAI) 2023, unveiled by Dr. Jitendra Singh, evaluates the performance of 89 Central Ministries in handling public grievances. Developed by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), it uses data from CPGRAMS to assess efficiency, feedback, domain expertise, and organisational commitment. GRAI promotes accountability, identifies areas for improvement, and strengthens public trust. While fostering transparency, challenges such as uniform implementation and high grievance volumes persist. Continuous updates to indicators and enhanced training are crucial for advancing public service efficiency.
