India’s First Green Hydrogen Fuelling Station
India’s first green hydrogen fuelling station was inaugurated in Leh, Ladakh, by NTPC Ltd in collaboration with Amara Raja Infra. Operating at 3,400 meters altitude, the station produces 80 kg of green hydrogen daily and will power five hydrogen fuel cell buses. This project aligns with the National Hydrogen Energy Mission, promoting sustainable and emission-free mobility solutions in extreme climates. The initiative positions India as a leader in green energy innovation.
