Yuva Sangam Phase 5 Launches Nationwide
Yuva Sangam Phase 5, led by the Ministry of Education, commenced on November 24, 2024. Targeting youth aged 18-30, the programme fosters cultural exchange and national unity. Participants visit paired states for 5-7 days, exploring five focus areas: Tourism, Traditions, Development, People-to-People Connect, and Technology. Supported by a “Whole of Government” approach involving multiple ministries, Yuva Sangam has attracted 44,000 registrations and engaged 4,795 participants across 114 tours since its 2022 pilot phase. The initiative emphasizes inter-state connections, youth empowerment, and the preservation of cultural diversity.
