PM Modi Chairs 45th PRAGATI Meeting
Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 45th PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance And Timely Implementation) meeting, reviewing eight infrastructure projects worth over ₹1 lakh crore, including six metro systems and projects for road connectivity and thermal power. Emphasis was placed on timely project completion, rehabilitation for displaced families, and efficient public grievance redressal. The PM also reviewed the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, urging phased implementation for comprehensive free electricity coverage. Workshops for metro cities were proposed to share best practices, while delays and cost overruns were highlighted as critical issues to address.
