Ashtalakshmi Mahotsav – A Cultural Celebration

The Ashtalakshmi Mahotsav, held from December 6–8, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, Delhi, celebrates the culture of Northeast India’s eight states. Inaugurated by the Prime Minister, the event highlights traditions, economic growth, and infrastructure development in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, and Sikkim. Featuring 250 artisans, cultural performances, technical sessions, and investor meets, the festival promotes tourism, textiles, and handicrafts. Named after the eight forms of prosperity, the Mahotsav underscores the Northeast’s potential as a trade and tourism hub, blending heritage with business opportunities.
