Bluetooth Low Energy System
IIT Ropar’s Agriculture and Water Technology Development Hub (AWaDH) unveiled a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Gateway and Node System under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS). This advanced BLE system offers long-range connectivity (up to 1 km), supports multiple nodes, and facilitates remote firmware updates. It is compact, durable, and energy-efficient, with applications in agriculture, logistics, smart cities, and industries. The system includes humidity, temperature sensors, and device control capabilities. Designed for improved resource management, it promotes real-time monitoring and decision-making in diverse sectors, aligning with India’s push for IoT-driven solutions.
