EmpowHER Biz – Sapno Ki Udaan
The Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) of NITI Aayog launched the EmpowHER Biz – Sapno Ki Udaan initiative in collaboration with New Shop. Targeting women aged 18-35 from regions like Delhi NCR, Punjab, and Gujarat, the programme provides mentorship and training in retail management, digital tools, and financial literacy. Fifty participants are selected through an application process, with the top 20 receiving franchise fee waivers. WEP, established in 2018, partners with 30+ organisations to address challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. EmpowHER Biz aims to democratise retail ownership, empowering over 10,000 women by 2030 while fostering entrepreneurial success and gender equity.
