- Introduced with JAKEDA as nodal agency in UT of J&K for achieving cumulative capacity of 220MW

Benefits:
- Single platform to monitor various Solar PV based plants
- Subsidy of 40% for 1-3Kw and 20% for above 3Kw capacity for consumers
- Hassle-free application process through National Portal for Rooftop Solar
- Consumer pays only beneficiary share and CFA disbursed to Empaneled Vendor directly after inspection by JAKEDA
Eligibility:
- Residential consumers and Group Housing Society can apply
- Have electricity connection in own name and pay regular electricity bill
- Have permission to use roof for solar rooftop installation from the owner
Implementation Strategy:
- To achieve cumulative capacity of 220MW under 20MW Residential Scheme and 200 MW Jammu Solar City “Solar City Mission”
- Consumers can apply hassle-free through National Portal for Rooftop Solar http://solarrooftop.gov.in
- Subsidy of 40% for 1-3Kw and 20% for above 3Kw capacity will be provided to consumers
