India Internet Governance Forum
The India Internet Governance Forum (IIGF) 2024 convened on December 9-10 at the Bharat Mandapam Convention Center in New Delhi. Supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI), this fourth edition centered on the theme “Innovating Internet Governance for India.” Discussions focused on bridging the digital divide, enhancing online trust and safety, and promoting responsible AI use. The forum brought together government officials, industry leaders, civil society, and technical experts to deliberate on creating a secure, inclusive, and ethically governed Internet ecosystem in India.
