INS Tushil Commissioning Ceremony
India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will commission INS Tushil, a multi-role stealth-guided missile frigate, at Yantra Shipyard in Kaliningrad, Russia. This marks a significant addition to India’s naval capabilities with advanced technology for modern warfare. Singh will also co-chair the 21st India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission, focusing on military cooperation, joint exercises, and technology transfer. He will pay respects at Moscow’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to honor Soviet sacrifices in World War II. INS Tushil’s commissioning reflects India’s expanding maritime strength and ongoing strategic ties with Russia.
