Karnataka’s New SWIFT City Initiative

The Karnataka government announced its SWIFT City initiative near Sarjapur, Bengaluru, to bolster the start-up ecosystem and industrial growth. Spanning 1,000 acres, SWIFT City will include co-working spaces, residential zones, and excellent connectivity to NH 44 and 48. It will feature plug-and-play facilities and land parcels for start-ups, available through flexible agreements. The project complements KWIN City, launched in September 2024, and aims to replicate the success of ITPL and Electronic City. With additional mini KWIN cities planned statewide, Karnataka reinforces its status as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, driving equitable growth across sectors.
