Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Dominica’s highest national honour during the India-CARICOM Summit on November 20, 2024. Presented by President Sylvanie Burton, the award recognises Modi’s contributions to healthcare, including India’s delivery of 70,000 AstraZeneca vaccines during the pandemic, and strengthened bilateral ties with Dominica. Lauded by Dominica’s PM Roosevelt Skerrit, Modi’s leadership also highlighted climate resilience efforts and sustainable development. This marks Modi’s 19th international accolade and showcases India’s growing global influence and collaboration with Caribbean nations.
