Description

What is a Mindmap

  • A mind map can turn a long list of boring information into a colourful, memorable and highly organized diagram that works in line with your brain’s natural way of doing things.
  • A mind map is hierarchical and reflects relationships among pieces of the whole.
  • Whenever you make notes from books or newspapers, instead of writing paragraphs or bullet points, you can make a mind map for the big-picture analysis and better recall.
  • How to make a mind map?
    • Step 1: Write the main concept at the centre of the page.
    • Step 2: Write sub-topics around the main concept and link them together.
    • Step 3: Write the key points under each-subtopics.
    • Step 4: Mark relationship (if any) between different points in the mind map.
  • Above is the example mind map from our article on the statue of unity issue. Here,
    • Statue of unity – the Main concept
    • Why in news? Who is Patel? Etc – Sub-topics
    • Then the nodes that branch out from sub-topics are key points.

Thank you for the suggestion. We’ve recently added note adding feature. There is an “Add Notes” button on every page that is visible after you log-in. Click it to add notes and it’ll be saved in our database forever. To read them, just open that page where you took notes and click that button again.

Even though a few static topics are to be uploaded newly, but one current affair article per day is a bit dull idea. It can be extended like one article per topic for all possible topics per day will be most welcomed effort.
Other than these IE does create positive vibes in my UPSC journey. Thank you for this initiative.

Sorry. It would be unproductive to make articles on each and every topic which is not important for the mains exam. You can cover those topics in prelims CA mindmaps itself as a brief. The analysis is only provided for important issues for mains only.

    Mindmaps are really good… ( content )..
    I am giving 4/5 star..

    Feedback –
    1. Please try to include images of possible.( If your memory in website allows )
    2. Please create a separate Mindmap ( liberty, caste, democracy … Etc etc ) – containing only expert/scholar view. ( So that we can revise it again an again )

    Thank you.

( Above feedback is just for my perspective, please free to ignore it if IASEXPRESS consider it useless/inappropriate. )

Mindmap is an innovative way of learning which helps to learn the maximum in minimum time which is an inevitable strategy in any competitive examination.
Hence, *A BIG SALUTE to TEAM IASEXPRESS* from my end !*

Just a small suggestion, in *THINKER* section of*WORK* sub-topic, *IF CENTRAL THEME OF WORK (e.g. REPUBLIC and it’s central theme) is appended will go a long way in grasping more lucidly.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you find our platform useful for revision. We’ve resolved the issue and our platform should now work better in poor network conditions.
