Rajasthan M-Sand 2024 Policy

Rajasthan’s M-Sand 2024 Policy promotes the use of manufactured sand (M-sand) to address the increasing demand for construction sand while fostering sustainability. Targeting a production increase from 13 million tonnes to 30 million tonnes by 2028-29, the policy supports local manufacturers through incentives like electricity duty waivers and stamp duty exemptions. It prioritizes sustainable mining, recycling, and ecosystem protection. Allocating 25% of M-sand for government projects initially, rising to 50% by 2028, the policy aims to create jobs, reduce river sand dependency, and drive economic growth while minimizing environmental impact.
