Udaan Yatri Cafe Initiative
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has launched the “Udaan Yatri Cafe” at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport to provide affordable food and beverages to air travelers. This pilot initiative offers essentials like water, tea, coffee, and snacks at reasonable prices. The program aims to enhance the passenger experience by addressing the need for affordable food at airports. If successful, the initiative will expand to other airports, with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) overseeing the rollout. This initiative reflects a commitment to improving services at Indian airports and ensuring accessibility for all travelers.
