Viksit Panchayat Karmayogi Initiative – Strengthening Grassroots Governance
The Viksit Panchayat Karmayogi initiative, launched on Good Governance Day, aims to strengthen Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) through technology-driven capacity-building programs. As part of the Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur campaign, it focuses on grassroots governance reforms by empowering elected representatives with tools like e-learning platforms, AI-powered chatbots, and mobile applications. Initially rolled out in Odisha, Assam, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh, the initiative promotes decentralized governance and citizen participation. Additional efforts include launching an iGOT Karmayogi dashboard with 1,600 e-learning courses, unveiling the CPGRAMS Annual Report for grievance redressal, and introducing a simplified pension application system to enhance public service efficiency.
